Sanitization Standards – Fort Worth, TX
Keeping Our Patients & Staff Safe is Our Top Priority
At Hulen Dental, our staff and patients are what make our practice so great, which is why we do everything within our power to keep them safe and healthy. We continue to monitor the COVID-19 cases daily and are following the strict CDC safety recommendations for dental practices so we can maintain a sterile and infection-free environment for people to receive high-quality dental services in.
Sterilizing Treatment Rooms
Our office staff strictly adheres to CDC safety guideline recommendations to ensure that our treatment rooms remain sterile at all times. We make sure to thoroughly clean and disinfect all surfaces and tools in the treatment room between every patient and after each use. All of our dental instruments, including scalers and dental mirrors, are sterilized in a steam autoclave machine in individual pouches, killing all lingering viruses or germs on our equipment.
Disinfecting Common Rooms
Due to the emergence of COVID-19, we are also taking additional precautions to thoroughly sanitize common areas such as the patient waiting room. We have removed all magazines, pamphlets, and other communal entertainment reading materials from the lobby and regularly disinfect the surfaces in the area throughout the day. This involves our staff thoroughly wiping down all door handles, tables, and chairs with Cavicide, a CDC-approved commercial sterilizing agent. In addition, we’re also making hand sanitizer available to all of our patients in various common areas around the entire practice.
The Bottom Line is, Your Safety is Our Priority!
When you visit Hulen Dental for all of your oral care needs, we’ll go out of our way to help you feel safe, comfortable, and well-cared for. So, if you have any questions about our sterilization practices or the CDC hygiene guidelines that we follow, don’t hesitate to ask us for more information!
